Hydraulic Car Lifts

Hydraulic Car Lifts

Until the 1980s, most vehicle lifts were of the in-ground type. Today, surface mounted lifts are the most widely used. Surface mounted lifts are typically bolted to the garage floor and powered by an electric motor which operates either a hydraulic pump or a screw type drive.

2 Post Surface Mounted

2 post surface mounted lifts are the most popular type of surface mounted lift purchased today. These lifts are usually frame-engaging and have swing arms which travel up the two columns. 2 post lifts are synchronized mechanically, hydraulically or electronically. 2 post lifts make a clicking sound when lifting…it’s the load holding device. To provide support, always lower the lift onto the load-holding-devices.

We at MICRON are dealers in 2 post hydraulic lifts which are available in both single and three phase motor versions.
